Includes images of picnics and contests including rock-drilling by miners and horse racing and rifle shooting between the 3-N Ranch and the Acadia Ranch. Born in 1848, Neal is believed to be the son of an African-American man and Cherokee woman. He came to Arizona about 1878; he operated a Stage Line, and built the Mountain View Hotel in Oracle.
